Tour details
Located about 26 nautical miles from Santa Cruz Island, the Bartolome Island it is known as one of the most impressive destinations in the archipelago for its landscapes and fascinating volcanic history.
Walking its trail feels like walking on Mars: a landscape of small craters and volcanic cones that, through erosion and oxidation, have taken on red and yellow tones that make this place a true visual spectacle. From the top of the viewpoint you get one of the most famous views in Galápagos: Pinnacle Rock, an iconic formation rising above the turquoise water.
The experience wouldn't be complete without exploring its underwater world. Bartolome Island has reefs that are home to sharks, sea stars, large schools of tropical fish and, most notably, the unique Galápagos penguins, which find refuge here.
