North Seymour, is one of the islands of nesting of several coastal species such as blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, gulls, pelicans, etc, Quite apart from find mammals such as sea lions, or reptiles like the endemic marine iguanas and land iguanas.
This island is considered an underwater lift, so its flat shape, which is the same that makes your environment fairly dry or arid, and does not enjoy a lot of vegetation quite apart from the species of native and endemic plants such as palo santo, cactus and sesuvium.
