Bartolome island, located about 26 nautical miles away from Santa Cruz island, is considered one of the most attractive of the archipelago in terms of landscapes due to its volcanic formation, which resembles walking on the planet Mars due to its small craters that are located along the path, the same ones that have passed a process to erosion and oxidation, and turn this area of reddish or yellow.
Marine fauna is also very important because it has several areas of reef that is home to sharks, sea stars, large schools of various fish, in addition to being one of the few sites where you can find the famous Galapagos penguins.
